India bound three models to be launched by Fiat during this year
It is reported that Fiat Group Automobiles India Pvt Ltd (FGAIPL) the Indian division of Italian car maker has three cars in pipeline for this year which it will be launching in Indian car market. Revealing company’s plans for this year Mr. Nagesh Basavanahalli, President and Managing Director, FIAT Chrysler Automobiles India Operations said that Avventura is one of the prioritized vehicles of company which will make its debut in Indian car market by the end of this year during the month of December.

Apart from this other two products which are in pipeline of company are New Punto and Abarth 500. Moving ahead Mr. Basavanahalli added that this year company is optimistic about its operations with its dealership, sales and service network will reach the mark of 150 by the end of this year. Moving ahead he also added that with these new products company expects to make strong growth in Indian car market.
Speaking on company’s last year performance Mr. Basavanahalli said that although company witnessed decline of five percent in its sales, but succeeded in overcoming it by selling out 1,500 cars during last month. Thus, witnessing the growth of 80 percent as compared to sales of last year during the same period. According to him company wants to accelerate its growth slowly and steady every month without determining any specific target for this fiscal year.
