Indian Auto Expo 2014: Jaguar showcases the new Camaro 2014
General Motors, the American car maker today showcased the new Chevrolet Camaro in the ongoing Indian Auto Expo 2014, the same vehicle was showcased by company during the Frankfurt Motor Show held last year. It is reported that the company will not launch this model in Indian car market and has displayed it only to exhibit company’s portfolio in the Auto Expo.
The Camaro 2014 is equipped with 6.2 litre V8 engine which will is mated with option of both six speed manual transmission system and automatic transmission system. The manual transmission system is capable of producing the power of 432 bhp and torque of 569 Nm. It accelerates the speed from standstill to 100 kmp within the span of 5.2 seconds.
The major changes which have been introduced in New Camaro include newly designed bumpers, grille, head and tail lights. The front portion is developed with broadened lower grille and narrow upper grille. The bonnet vent reduces the aerodynamic life. At the rear side Camaro receives horizontal maps, followed by diffuser and sculptural deck lid. The rear also get spoiler along with integral antenna. The interiors have been developed with MyLink infotainment system along with seven inch touch display supporting connectivity with Bluetooth AUX/USB.
