Indian Auto Expo 2014 : A Glimpse
In current scenario when Indian car market is witnessing huge slump in sales due to various factors the 12th Indian Auto Expo 2014 held from February 5th to February 11th flourished new hopes among car makers from the new and updated version of cars displayed by them and the overwhelming response received from visitors.
The Indian Auto Expo 2014 was quite different from its erstwhile version, it was for the first time when Indian Auto Expo was organized in Greater Noida Delhi NCR instead of being organized in Delhi. Apart from this it was for the first time when more than 70 new car models were displayed during the Auto Expo. Among these displayed car models there were some models which have already made curiosity among Indian buyers quite before their launch or unveil, mainly Hyundar Xcent aka Grand i10 sedan, Datsun Go, Maruti Celerio, Ford Figo, Tata Bolt and Zest, New Honda Jazz and many more.
Apart from this there were various luxurious cars which were mainly unveiled or launched by celebrities who made their presence on stands of different car manufacturers. The renowned celebrities which marked their presence during the show were Sachin Tendulkar, John Abraham, Priyanka Chopra, Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor, Ranbir Kapoor, Sameera Reddy etc.
It would be important to mention that not only these cars there were various new car models which made their debut in Indian Auto Expo and are speculated to explore their craze among generation next car enthusiasts. The major cars in this segment were Mercedes Benz GLA Crossover, Tata Etios Cross, Fiat Avventura, Tata Xenon Compact SUV, Mahindra Verito Electric, Honda Mobilio, Facelift Skoda Superb, facelift Skoda Yeti, Mahindra XUV 500 Hybrid, Volkswagen Taigun compact SUV, Datsun Go+ MPV, and many more.
