Indian Automakers Extend The Warranty And Service Duration

With the lockdown imposed in most of the states across the country a huge segment of new customers are not able to take their vehicles scheduled under the warranty period. Keeping the existing situation in the concern most of the automakers including both four wheelers and two wheelers manufacturers have announced to extend the duration of warranty and services of their vehicles for a certain period. According to recent reports where some of the manufacturers have extended warranty for a month, some others have extended it up to for the period of three months. Below are the names of manufacturers announcing the extension of warranty and scheduled service on their vehicles.
 
 
Maruti Suzuki India Limited: Country’s leading auto manufacturing company the Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced to extend the free service, warranty, and the extended warranty for its customers up to June 30, 2021. This extension will however be applicable on the vehicles whose free service and warranty period was scheduled to expire between March 15, 2021 and May 31, 2021. 
 
Hyundai Motors: Hyundai Motors India Limited, the Indian alliance of Korean carmaker Hyundai has also extended the warrant, service, and extended warranty for the period of two months.
 
Tata Motors: For the customers whose term of warranty and free service were due between April 1, 2021 and May 31, 2021 has extended till June 30, 2021. The domestic carmaker is the first auto manufacturing company in the country which announced the extension of these benefits.
 
MG Motors India: The Indian subsidiary of the UK based carmaker has extended the benefits of warranty and free service up to July 31, 2021. This facility will be however applicable for the vehicles scheduled during the months of April and May.
 
Renault India: Renault India has extended the warranty and periodic free services for its customers whose vehicles were scheduled for these facilities between April and May 2021. Now these customers avail these benefits until July 31, 2021. The 24x7 road assistance service offered by the company continues its support in case of an emergency even during the pandemic.
 
Yamaha: The two wheeler manufacturing company Yamaha has extended the benefits of service and warranty up to June 30, 2021. This benefit will be offered to only those customers whose service and warranty was due during the lockdown period.
