This week Indian car market witnessed launches of three highly awaited cars which have grabbed attention of Indian car buyers quite early before their launch. It would be interested to know that three days of this week Wednesday, Thursday and Friday witnessed launch of these three cars successively. The first one to hit the Indian roads among these three news cars was next generation Ford Figo by U.S.  based car maker Ford Motors the second one was KWID French car maker Renault and third one was the sweet car Maybach S600 by German car maker Mercedes Benz. The first two cars have been acclaimed as the best hatchbacks available in Indian car market, expected to set a new trend in hatchback segment while the third one has been developed for specific segment of buyers who are ready to pay any amount to enjoy luxurious features in their cars.

 

Ford Figo: The first generation Figo hatchback was launched almost four years back in 2011 and had been one of the best selling hatchback by American car maker Ford and new Figo is expected to repeat the  same history. Prior to this car maker has launched its sedan version Aspire last month and which has succeeded in receiving overwhelming response by Indian car maker. Launched in both petrol and diesel variants with three engine options of 1.2 litre TiVCT and 1.5 litre TiVCT petrol engines and 1.5 litre TDCi diesel engine, new Figo hatchback has been launched in overall six versions.

 

 

Renault KWID: Claimed to be as one of the fuel efficient hatchback available in India delivering an average of 25.17 kmpl, KWID has been offered in petrol trim empowered with 799 cc with 3 cylinder engine boosting the power of 54 bhp and torque of 72 Nm. KWID at first gives an impression of compact sedan at first look. It has been developed on CMF-A platform.

 

 

Mercedes Benz S600 Maybach: S600 Maybach by German car maker Mercedes Benz is one of the fifteen launches determined for launch in this year in Indian car market. This luxurious sedan is 6.0 litre V12 bi-turbo engine boosting the power of 523 bhp and torque of 830Nm, mated with seven speed automatic transmission system this premium luxurious is mated with seven speed automatic transmission system and will touch the top notch of 249 kmph.
