InterGlobe open up new segment in auto market by launching Atom cars

Conglomerate InterGlobe Enterprises; founded in 1989 and headquartered in Gurgaon, India, has officially announced the launching of UK based sportscar manufacturer Ariel Motor’s Atom series of cars in the country with price that ranges up to INR 85 Lakhs.

InterGlobe Established Private Limited is assigned to take care of the Ariel Motor products across the nation. InterGlobe Established Private Limited is a division of parent company InterGlobe Enterprises; which owns six business houses extended across several industries.

The company stated that InterGlobe Established which is currently branded as The Estd, will be authorized to represent Ariel Motor Company’s operations in India and SAARC.

The variety of Atom vehicles will be sold by the Estd with entry level price of INR 55 Lakhs going up to INR 85 Lakhs for the top end model with all the advanced gears and accessories such as superchargers. The firm is also considering bringing in different versions of Ariel Atom 3 cars; which are made up of the most powerful specifications in the history of Atom cars.

The Estd- President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Mr. Nigel Harwood said that the country is enchanted by high-speed cars as a result it offers the company an opportunity to provide the people of India a unique vehicle in its category with the name Atom. According to market study the demand for such fast vehicles is estimated to rise by 20% in the coming five years, he added.

Mr. Harwood stated that the American firm is confident on sales in India as it has immense potential, especially after sighting the enthusiasm among the people after the inaugural success of Formula1 season.

He further said that the company among the new-age high net-worth individuals (HNIs) has identified the zeal for ecstasy and adventures which will assist the sports car culture prosper.
