Interiors of next generation Ssangyong Rexton spied
It was almost four years back in 2012 when Korean car maker SsangYong had launched the third generation of its SUV Rexton in global car market. Now after the gap of four years car maker is going to bring its upgraded version in International market which is speculated to be exhibited during Paris Motor Show 2016. Recently the prototype of same version was spied on Chinese roads giving partial details regarding the interiors which will be offered in fourth generation Rexton. As far as details of exteriors are concerned due to heavy covers it was not possible to even get a glimpse of external portion.
Under the hood generation next Rexton will be empowered with 2.2 litre diesel engine boosting the power of 178bhp and mated with six speed manual transmission system. It is reported that the buyers will also have an option of seven speed or eight speed automatic transmission system followed by four wheel driving option. In Chinese car market the refreshed SUV will be offered in both petrol and diesel variants empowered with 2.0 and 2.2 litre engine configurations respectively and mated with eight speed automatic transmission system.
Inside the cabin it will embellish features like newly developed centre console, three spoke steering wheel, with chances of electronic parking brake. It is reported that along with SUV, car maker will also introduce a 1 tonne pickup truck also with it. Both these vehicles are reported to be developed on company’s (Limitless Interface Vehicle) concept.
