Jaguar F-Pace Scores 5 Star in Euro NCAP Test
Jaguar F-Pace the luxurious SUV by British car maker Land Rover launched year not only succeeded in impressing car enthusiasts across the world with its launch, but has now added one more diamond in its crown by scoring five stars in Euro New Car Assessment Program carried to analyze the feasibility of safety features offered in the vehicle. According to the results revealed by NCAP the F-Pace scored 93 percent in the adult protection and 85 percent in the child protection. Apart, from this the SUV also scored 80 percent for pedestrian protection.

The list of safety features offered in the F-Pace include six airbags, anti-brake system, autonomous emergency braking (AEB) system and many more followed by plethora of electronic features to offer smooth driving experience to the driver. Commenting on the results achieved by the SUV in NCAP test, Nick Rogers, Executive Director, Product Engineering, Jaguar Land Rover said, “The Jaguar F-PACE combines award winning design and engineering with exceptional safety. The lightweight aluminium intensive body of the 2017 World Car of the Year provides excellent protection alongside the dynamic performance customers expect from a Jaguar. Improvements to active safety technologies, such as Forward Traffic Detection and Driver Condition Monitoring, ensured F-PACE achieved the five-star Euro NCAP score."
The Indian version of the SUV is empowered with 2.0 litre Ingenium diesel engine that is capable of boosting the power of 177 bhp and torque of 4000 rpm. The transmission duty is performed by eight speed automatic transmission system. It is capable of touching the mark of 100 kmph in the span of 8.7 seconds with the top speed of 208 kmph.
