Jaguar F-Type SVR planned for India
According to recent industry reports British car maker Jaguar is going bring sports version of it luxurious coupe SVR in Indian car market by the end of this year. The sportier version of this coupe christened as Jaguar F-Type SVR was unveiled internationally by car maker earlier this year during Geneva Motor Show. The SVR edition of this coupe receives mechanical as well cosmetic updates.
Under the bonnet it receives 5.0 litre supercharged V8 engine borrowed from F-Type R. The V8 engine configuration has now been tuned to generate the power of 567 bhp and torque of 700Nm. The four wheel driving vehicle hits the speed from standstill to 100 kmph in span of 3.5 seconds followed by top notch of 320+ kmph.
On the cosmetic front it receives newly developed front bumper and splitter, carbon fibre rear wing to enhance the aerodynamics looks of existing Jaguar F-Type. The exhaust system has been developed by making use of titanium alloy and generates excellent sound. The suspension system has been edited, with this the all wheel driving system enjoys perfect match of torque vectoring and stability control system. The eight speed gearbox system has also been reframed. According to sources of company the SVR version of F-Type will soon be launched in Indian car market but to enjoy its driver the car enthusiast will have to get it booked by the dealership located close to them.
