Jaguar Land Rover withdraws from Detroit comes all the way to Delhi

The focus of the global carmakers seems to be shifting towards the prospective Indian auto market leaving behind the automobile sectors in Europe and USA. And that can be sensed from the reports that Jaguar Land Rover (JLR) has pulled out of the famous Detroit Auto Show in order to mark its attendance at the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo.

The Britain based company that is now a part of Indian multinational corporation, Tata Motors, has announced that it would like to invest their concentration on displaying its eye-catching automobiles at the country’s biggest auto show that will commence in the first week of January.

The top carmakers coming to Delhi Auto Expo on the cost of Detroit event can be a great omen from the Indian standpoint, but really heartbreaking for the organizers of the North American International Auto Show (NAIAS) that is termed as leading Auto Show around the globe.

A bit of clash in the dates can also be taken into account for this skip as Auto Show in Detroit starts on 9th January 2012, while Delhi Expo will begin by 5th January and will end up on 11th January 2012. But the other global auto giants like Mercedes Benz, Ford, Audi, BMW, Volkswagen, Peugeot Citron, Toyota, and Honda along with Renault will make their attendance in both the shows simultaneously. While Jaguar Land Rover is expected to showcase a new more compact variant of the well-known Range Rover Evoque.

Some major announcements can be heard in the 2012 Delhi Auto Expo from the home based automakers like Bajaj, Mahindra & Mahindra, Tata Motors and Maruti Suzuki. Along with the products that can prove to be productive in making the environment greener. Lot of other international companies who do not have their presence in the country may display their products to catch the eyes of the viewers.
