Jaguar Launches F-Pace in India, Priced Rs. 68.40 lakh
British luxurious car maker Jaguar has finally launched its SUV F-Pace in Indian car market with starting price of Rs. 68.40 lakh (ex-showroom, New Delhi) in four trims namely Pure, Prestige, R-Sport and First Edition. The price of its top end trim goes high up-to Rs. 1.12 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). To make the launch of this luxurious SUV a memorable event the JLR the Indian alliance of car maker had not left any stone unturned. The major attraction of launch was the dummy of “Shard” the longest building in UK, developed in Mumbai
Under hood the F-Pace SUV is offered in diesel variant with two engine options of 2.0 litre diesel engine boosting the power of 180 bhp and torque of 430Nm. With top speed of 200 km/h it is claimed to hit the mark from standstill to 100 km/h in span of 8.7 seconds. The second engine option in diesel variant is 3.0 litre V6 engine that is developed to belt the power of 300 bhp and torque of 700Nm. It is reported to reach the mark from zero to 100 km/h within 6.2 seconds and reach the top notch of 241 km/h. The transmission system introduced in both trims includes 8-speed ZF automatic transmission system followed by all-wheel drive option. According to reports JLR India will also launch its petrol variant boosted with 2.0 litre petrol engine churning the power of 240 bhp.
The interiors of F-Pace are equipped with high quality elements. The dashboard receives a tablet styled touchscreen infotainment system supported with swipe and pinch features followed by navigation system. Interestingly it also embellishes 10 options for ambient lighting system, folding seats in ratio of 40:20:40, the large bootspace to carry huge luggage smoothly.
