Jaguar Upgrades F-Pace 2021, Gets New Engine And New Interiors

Since its inception back in 2016, the luxurious SUV F-Pace from the British carmaker Jaguar Land Rover has undergone subtle changes regularly to retain its freshness among the buyers. Now, it is for the first time that the company has introduced vast changes in the SUV including the engine and cosmetic updates. According to reports the exteriors of the F-Pace 2021 look identical to its existing version, the major cosmetic updates have been introduced inside the cabin.

To begin with engine options, the F-Pace is offered in four trims namely 250, 250S, S340, and R-Dynamic S 400. The 250 trims are empowered with a new 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged engine that boosts the power of 243 bhp. The S340 trim is equipped with a new 3.0-liter, six-cylinder, turbocharged engine mated with a mild-hybrid engine boosting the power of 330 bhp. The top R-Dynamic receives the same engine as offered in the S340 trim, but with tweaked power generation efficiency of 390 bhp. The transmission duties in all the trims are performed by ZF sourced eight-speed automatic transmission system as standard. It also receives the options of all-wheel-drive-system, drive modes for adjusting steering, and throttle response.
 
Inside, the cabin it receives a big touchscreen display with a 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, the Pivi Pro software can also be seen on the board. It would be interesting to know that most of the elements inside the cabin are offered with soft-touch adjustment buttons. The transmission lever is placed with a small lever positioned next to the drive mode controls. It also receives a new steering wheel outsourced from I-Pace, mated with touch-sensitive buttons. The key-less entry system, 14-speaker Meridian sound system, and ten-colour ambient lights are offered as a standard interior feature.

On the exterior front as mentioned-above does not receive any notable changes, except a slight bolder front with few slats on the hood followed by the set of new LED headlights. The front grille receives new dark piano black treatment.
