Jaipur Auto Expo Live Coverage

Jaipur Auto Expo, the biggest auto event in the history of the state of Rajasthan has just been inaugurated at the Ambedkar circle in Jaipur. Even in the chilling morning uncountable heads swarmed in for this glitterati car event as it is opened for public starting today. The event will be open for public till February 20. Transport Minister Virendra Beniwal inaugurated the three day auto event organized by the leading newspaper Rajasthan Patrika amid much applause and fanfare. The show is believed to be quite important from the point of view of giving a boost to the auto sector in the state and car companies such as Maruti, Hyundai, and Tata besides Skoda, Volkswagen, Renault and others have pitched in their stalls for displaying their cars in India.  

The Jaipur Auto Expo will be the centre of attraction for auto enthusiasts from Rajasthan and across the country besides, foreign tourists. Many foreign tourists were also seen at the Jaipur Expo inauguration event. There will be bike stunt show at the Jaipur Expo at 5pm in the evening followed by an Auto Fashion Show at 7pm tomorrow.

On the first day of the Auto Expo in Jaipur, many vehicles will be showcased and some will also be launched thus increasing the importance of this event making it not just a state level event but an event of international repute. As part of the showcases, SUV maker Mahindra has displayed its seven seater Bajaj RE 60 like small vehicle Mahindra Gio. Besides, almost all the car makers that have their car offering in India are also showcasing their products at the Jaipur Auto Show. Prominent among them are homegrown car maker Tata showing the entire range of its cars including the Tata Nano 2012, Force showcasing its debut SUV Force One apart from Honda, Hyundai, Skoda, BMW, Land Rover, Volkswagen, Nissan and others all have put up their cars.

On the occasion of inauguration, dignitaries including Transport Secretary Deepak Upreti, President of Authorised Motor vehicle Dealers Association Dayanidhi Kasliwal, Vice-President Kishore Gehlot, and Secretary C.H. Shah were also present along with Transport Minister Virendra Beniwal who inaugurated the mega auto event taking place in Jaipur.
