Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT black edition launched in China
Recently, Chrysler Group launched the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Black Edition in China. The black edition of this sporty SUV further makes it more masculine and athletic. The Street and Racing Technology has always been the most loved thing of Chrysler group. With Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT, the Jeep range has become more sporty and advanced. The new Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Black Edition in China is available for 1.19 Million Yuan, which means about Rs. 1.04 crore. This price tag takes the car close to Mercedes G63 AMG.

The Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Black Edition is still the same as before. The technical specifications haven’t been touched as such. This one will come with the same dynamic and robust 6.4 litre of HEMI V8 engine that has the capacity to churn out a massive power output of 468 horsepower along with 624 Nm of maximum torque. Besides the technical part, justifying its name, Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Black Edition has been finished in superior Piano black color, which also comprises of the Jeep Logo. The window now has chrome outlining, which gives a bit of bling to the car, while the fog lamp enclosure, twin exhaust tips and huge alloy wheels are also glamorized by Chrome finish.

Jeep brand of cars are also confirmed to be launched in India by 2013-16. Fiat Motors is in plans to bring in the entire range of Jeep cars to India. These will comprise of Jeep Grand Cherokee as well. However, it is possible that the Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT Black Edition might not make it to the Indian portfolio very soon, but with the launch of Jeep cars here, this will be followed up very soon.
