Talking about the 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee, there are numerous changes that would steal the show here. The first noticeable one is the engine. This time around, the company has installed a new and powerful 3.0-Litre V6 diesel engine that keeps the capacity to produce 345PS of maximum power. To make the performance charming and inspiring, the new Cherokee has 8-Speed automatic transmission. Therefore, be assured that the performance delivery by the car would be amazing on road. The other petrol models with 3.6-Litre V6 and 5.7-Litre V8 also get the new transmission. Besides the engine, there are some subtle modifications in terms of exteriors. The new grille is refreshing, while the new design of the headlamps and rear profile is appealing in its own way. On the other hand, the interiors of the car sports new electronic gear-shifter, reworked three-spoke steering wheel with paddle shifters, 7 inches of touch screen display and refurbished central console.
It would be certainly be idyllic for the firm to introduce 2014 Grand Cherokee with the 3.0-Litre diesel engine in India as the Indian market has soaring demand for the same. Apart from this, at the show, Jeep also showcased Grand Cherokee SRT, which also features the same new transmission along with altered 6.4-Litre Hemi V8 mill.
