Jeep Meridian 2024 Ready For Launch, Bookings Initiated
The US-based carmaker Jeep is all set to launch the refreshed version of its best-selling SUV Meridian in the Indian car market. Jeep India, the Indian alliance has initiated the bookings of the facelift Meridian. The company will soon announce the price of the facelift Meridian. It is believed that in its new avatar the Meridian SUV will undergo a bunch of cosmetic and technical updates. There will be no mechanical changes under the hood.
To begin the powertrains the Jeep Meridian 2024 will continue with the existing engine configuration of a 2.0-litre diesel engine mated with a six-speed manual gear transmission system. There is also an option of a nine-speed automatic transmission system, for the buyers willing to buy a SUV with an automatic transmission system. It will also continue the existing 4x2 and 4x4 driving options.
Speaking about the features, the Jeep Meridian will host a bunch of features including a Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance System (ADAS) system offered in both five-seater and seater variants. It will integrate more than 30 connected features that are accessible remotely. Inside the cabin, it will be equipped with a 10.1-inch touchscreen infotainment system, that supports wireless connectivity with a smartphone, a 10.2-inch digital instrument cluster, a wireless charging pad, and a nine-speaker audio system outsourced from Alpine.
On the safety front, it will embellish the features like six airbags as standard, front parking sensors, a 360-degree surround-view camera and a few more to offer safe travel experience to passengers. With the combination of new features and technical updates, the new Jeep Meridian is anticipated to strengthen its position in the premium SUV segment of the Indian SUV market.
