Jeep officially Unveils The Luxurious SUV Grand Commander
American SUV maker Jeep is recognized for manufacturing rugged vehicles enriched with power and performance. Last year the US based car maker its grand entrance in the Indian car market through Compass, Grand Cherokee and Wrangler Unlimited. Now the SUV maker has officially unveiled the advanced version Grand Cherokee in form of Grand Commander and is going to soon launch the same in Chinese car market during the Beijing Motor Show, to be held in the month of April this year.

Under the hood it is reported to be offered with 2.0 litre petrol engine with two power generating options of 231 bhp and 261bhp. The notable feature in the Grand Commander is availability of seven seats for third row passengers. The Jeep Grand Commander is basically the new avatar of Jeep Grand Wagoneer, the name was used by maker earlier for luxurious SUVs. As far as looks of commander are concerned it carries most of its cues from Grand Cherokee but in more luxurious and aggressive stance. As far as seven plated grille, headlights are concerned they have been given sleeker shape in Grand Commander.

On the rear portion also it adorns sleek rear tail lamps and also tweaks on the third row windows which are not found in the Grand Cherokee. Inside the cabin also it is reported to receive luxurious look on both fronts including the design and the material used for developing the interiors. The Jeep Grand Commander will compete against Mercedes-Benz GLS and Range Rover, BMW X7 and others in the segment.
