Jeep To Launch Its First Electric SUV In 2023
Stellantis, the owner of US-based carmaker Jeep, will launch its first electric SUV throughout the world in 2023. The company informed its business plan during a presentation in Amsterdam. According to this, the company will focus mainly on producing more electric vehicles in the coming years. The company also displayed the first image of its proposed electric vehicle.

Based on the image revealed by the company, the upcoming SUV will receive the signature looks of its elders, including a seven-slated front grille followed by an aggressive look. The door handles on the rear door are placed on the window rather than their standard position below the window. It is rumoured, that the upcoming SUV will be a compact SUV similar to Compass or Renegade. The other details like the name, engine, power, and details are not revealed till now.
The carmaker plans to launch 25 electric vehicles in the global market by 2030 and increase its sales. These 25 electric vehicles will include a Ram Promaster van in 2023 and a Ram 1500 pickup truck in 2024. The business plan presented by the US carmaker is similar to the business plan of major carmakers like Volkswagen, General Motors and Ford. The business plan presented by these carmakers is inspired by the business plan of Tesla, which focuses on the development of more electric vehicles.
