John Abraham gifts Audi Q3 to his sister-in-law for her birthday

The association between Bollywood and cars go a long way, the stars are fond of owing these luxury vehicles, the famous Bollywood actor, John Abraham has recently bought a brand new Audi Q3 compact SUV for his sister-in-law, Anca Abraham. Mr. Michael Perschke, the Audi India honcho gave the keys of Audi Q3 SUV to the Bollywood hunk, John has gifted this SUV to his sister-in-law on the occasion of her birthday.

While handling the Audi Q3 keys to John, Mr. Michael Perschke mentioned that John has been associated with the German luxury car maker for quite long and it is amazing to extend the bond with his sister-in-law Anca Abraham. Audi Q3 is a compact SUV which forayed in the Indian car market some time back. Audi Q3 has been doing well in the domestic market, being a compact size SUV it is a part of the new gen SUVs making their ways in India, shedding away the large size image of SUVs, Q3 is a leaner option for women too.

Expressing his delight on this occasion, John Abraham who himself is an owner of Audi Q7 said that he is extremely happy to gift this new SUV to his sister-in-law. Audi Q3 is the cheapest vehicle from the clan of Audi in India, the SUV has managed to make a space for itself in the domestic market by swaying away 500 bookings within 5 days of the launch.

Audi is topping the luxury segment with its Q Series SUVs, Audi Q5 and Audi Q7 and it has Audi R8, Audi R8 Spyder, Audi RS5 and Audi TT Coupe in the sports segment. Audi is now eyeing to expand its dealership to 25 by the end of the year 2012 which currently stands at 21 dealerships. The company of late inaugurated showrooms in cities like Coimbatore, Delhi West Nagpur, Bhopal, Navi Mumbai and Goa. In 2011, Audi India opened showrooms in Delhi South, Chennai, Ludhiana, Surat and Indore, while Lucknow and Kanpur are on the radar.
