Kia Motors Joins the Hands Of Hyundai To Explore Its Operations In India

With an objective to establish its roots in the Indian car maker Kia Motors, the subsidiary of the Korean car maker Hyundai Motors is speculating to step as the contender to its parent company. According to recent reports the Korean company will step in the Indian car market as the competitor to Hyundai Motor India Limited. The management of Kia Motors in South Korea is having talks with Indian team of Hyundai Motors for starting its operational activities which will include setting up the production plant, searching the vendors and dealers.
 
Kia Motors Collaborates With The Hyundai Motors
 
The sources related with the development strategy of Kia Motors said that the Indian arm of Kia Motors will soon start the export of engine and other components to different countries. The parent company Hyundai Motors is also finding the opportunities of collaboration between its Indian subsidiaries Mobis and Globis and Kia Motors India. It is believed that the Kia Motors India will commence its production activities in India at its unit located at the Andhra Pradesh from the second half of the next year. The first vehicle to come out by the Korean car maker would be a compact utility vehicle that the company displayed during the Indian Auto Expo 2018.

It would be interested to know that both the Korean companies will compete with each other in the Indian car market but still the parent company will collaborate with its subsidiary, unit it successfully establishes its roots in the India. The Indian alliance of Kia Motors is believed to have the capacity of manufacturing 300,000 units annually and the car maker plans to extend this capacity in coming years.
