Lamborghini Launches the Huracan RWD Spyder in India
Two years back in 2015 it was Huracan RWD Spyder Coupe that was launched in Indian car market by the Italian car maker Lamborghini, now after two years the car maker has launched the droptop edition of the coupe christened as Lamborghini Huracan RWD Spyder with starting price of Rs. 3.45 crore (ex-showroom, Delhi). The launch of supercar took place during the Lakme Fashion Week 2017. After Huracan Spyder LP 610-4 which was introduced last year, the Spyder Huracan RWD Spyder is the second convertible product by the car maker in Indian car market. The only difference both the convertibles is of driving option, where the former is offered with All-Wheel-Drive option the later is offered with two-wheel drive option.

Under the hood the Huracan RWD Spyder adorns 5.2 litre V10 engine boosting the power of 580 bhp and developing the torque of 540Nm. The transmission duty is performed by seven speed dual clutch gearbox transmitting the power of rear wheels along with rear mechanical self-locking feature. Alike, its elder sibling RWD Coupe the Spyder RWD can also kick the speed from standstill to 100 kmph in the span of 3.6 seconds with top notch of 319 kmph. The convertible is available for bookings and will be delivered to the customers with the waiting of four months.

On the exterior front the convertible carries lots of its cues from Huracan RWD coupe and sports sweptback headlamps along with W-shaped LED DRLs, the muscular bumper followed by three air intakes, heated and foldable ORVMs, tail mounted rear spoiler, electronically operated sharp doors. The noticeable features which gives the convertible a differential look includes 19 inch KARI silver alloy garnished rims mounted on Pirelli PZero tyres, developed specifically for this rear transmission drive supporting vehicle. Inside the cabin it sports dual tone combination of yellow trim with all black cabin followed by company’s logo printed on the headrest.
