Land Rover Defender LXV limited edition launched
JLR (Jaguar Land Rover), fully owned subsidiary of Indian automobile giant Tata Motors, has launched the Land Rover Defender's limited edition, called the LXV. The company has offered this limited eidition of the luxury SUV to celebrate the 65th anniversary of Land Rover brand. As per reports, the first Land Rover car was unveiled in 1947-48 and this year the company has completed the 65 years with very good success.

The new launched Land Rover Defender LXV limited edition has been offered in 90” Hard Top model. It houses a 2.2-litre diesel power plant which is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. Beside this, the LXV SUV has been equipped new Corris Grey roof, stylish grille and new designed headlights. Decals of the vehilce have been equipped with LXV badges and Union flag. Interiors of the vehicle have been equipped with new leather seats with embossed LXV logos and orange contrast stitching.

Land Rover is reported to celebrate the event at Packington Hour new Solihull and more than 130 vehicles will be displayed. Along with historic Land Rover cars, current range, nine-speed Evoque and Defender Electric will be displayed. In Indian auto market, Land Rover has launched the Discovery 4, Freelander 2, Range Rover, Range Rover Evoque and Range Rover Sport luxury SUVs. In domestic market the company is doing very well and recently launched the 3L diesel engine version of best selling Land Rover Range Rover along with new version of Land Rover Freelander 2.
