Launch of Chevrolet Enjoy and sub Rs 10 lakh Force One nearer
General Motors India has displayed the pictures and some details of features and specs of much anticipated MPV Chevrolet Enjoy on its official website. The new Enjoy MPV will be offered in both petrol and diesel models with a large choice of variants. On the other hand, country's one of the most popular passenger vehicle maker Force Motors will also launch a low cost variant of SUV Force One in Indian next month.
According to media sources, the official launch of Chevrolet Enjoy MPV in India has been set for May 9 while the low cost version of Force One SUV will be launched in first week of next month. The Enjoy MPV's petrol model will have a 1.4-litre unit under the hood generating max power of 95PS and top torque of 127Nm. It is a seven seater MPV which could fall between Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh. In the Indian market, in terms of features, specs and price, the Enjoy MPV will be a tough challenger of Maruti Ertiga, Mahindra Xylo and Nissan Evalia.

On the other hand, Force Motors could launch the new low-cost variant of the One SUV in first week of May under Rs 10 lakh. It is based on the current 4x2 variant. The new cheaper version is reported to be offered without twin tailpipes, roof rails, alloy wheels and beige colors in cabin. The company has made major changes under hood of the low-cost variant as it will carry a 2.2-litre common rail diesel engine.
