Launch of Honda Mobilio confirmed on July 24, 2014
Japanese car maker Honda Motors has confirmed to launch its highly awaited and anticipated MPV Mobilio in Indian car market on July 24, 2014. The MPV was showcased during the Indian Auto Expo 2014 and since then it was one of the highly awaited MPVs in Indian car market, especially in the scenario when the Indian car market is witnessing huge growth. Another reason towards the increasing craze of buyers towards Mobilio was the recent launches of Japanese car maker including recently launched new Honda City and Honda Amaze launched last year.

The MPV would be launched in both petrol and diesel trims. The petrol variant will be energized with company’s regular 1.5 litre i-VTEC petrol engine churning the power of 117 bhp. The engine would be coated with five speed manual or CVT gearbox. The diesel avatar of MPV would be empowered with the same 1.5 litre i-DTEC diesel engine as offered in sedan City and compact sedan Amaze. The engine will generate the power of 98bhp. According to sources of company both the variants would be fuel efficient vehicles in their segments delivering an average of 18 kmpl and 26 kmpl respectively. The car maker has already started the booking Honda Mobilio through its dealership across the country.
It would be interested to know that car maker has not left any stone unturned to make Mobilio enjoy the huge success as enjoyed by its elder siblings new Honda City and Honda Amaze. Apart from showcasing the MPV at different shopping malls throughout the country the car maker also engaged the services of renowned comedian Kapil Sharma to promote the vehicle in his unique style.
