Lexus to Make its Official Debut during 2017 in India
Lexus the subsidiary of Japanese car maker Toyota Motors is gearing up at jet dynamic speed to make its official debut in Indian car market sometimes during the month of March 2017. In Indian car market the car maker will debut with two SUV's namely RX450h and LX450d followed by ES300h sedan. It is reported that the bookings of these vehicles will be initiated by Toyota Motors from month of November 2016 throughout its dealers across the country and deliveries will commence once the luxurious brand of Toyota steps in country.

Speaking about proposed vehicles, the RX450h will be a hybrid version of SUV which is being sold in global market. The India bound edition of this WUV will be however coupled with 3.5 litre V6 petrol engine and collaboration of both will generate the power of 308 bhp. The responsibility of transmission will be owned by CVT gearbox. According to industry reports lots of modification will be introduced in vehicle keeping in concern the driving conditions prevailing in India. It is anticipated to be priced in slot of Rs. 40 lakh to Rs. 50 lakh and will compete against BMW X3, and Audi Q5.

Moving towards the second SUV LX450d nothing has been so far revealed by company except that it has been developed on same platform as used in Toyota Land Cruiser and will be offered in both petrol and diesel disguises in International market. The petrol variant will be powered with 5.7 litre V8 engine boosting the power of 383 bhp and torque of 546 Nm. The diesel trim will get power from 4.5 litre V8 engine that churns the power of 269 bhp and torque of 659Nm. It is expected to be priced with starting price of Rs. 1.5 crore and will compete against Audi Q7, Mercedes G-Class, BMW X6 and Range Rover.

Finally but not the least ES300 h sedan will continue the same empowerment features as offered by Camry hybrid and therefore it is believed that the proposed sedan will also be hybrid vehicle. It will be enriched with 2.5 litre petrol engine along with an electronic motor and mated with CVT gearbox transmitting the power to front wheels. It is speculated to be offered with starting price of Rs. 50 lakh and will compete with Audi A6, Mercedes-Benz E- Class, Jaguar XF and BMW 5-Series.
