Limited Edition DLX of Maruti Suzuki Swift Launched
Country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has launched the Limited Edition of its best selling hatchback Swift in Indian car market with price tag of Rs. 4.54 lakh for petrol variant and Rs. 5.95 lakh for diesel variant. The limited edition has been named as DLX and has been offered in base trim of both petrol and diesel variants. The bookings of same edition have been commenced by car maker.
Under the hood this limited edition continues the existing range of engine 1.2 litre K Series petrol and 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine boosting the power of 83 bhp and 74 bhp followed by torque of 115Nm and 190Nm respectively. The bunch of new features adorned in limited edition are Sony FM music system that supports connectivity with Bluetooth, USB and is supported by four door speakers, black colored B-pillar, fog lamps and power windows for both front and rear seat passengers. The limited edition also sports safety features like child safety lock, engine immobilizer and smart warning indicator.
According to reports the Indo-Japanese car makers are also going to bring the generation next Swift hatchback in Indian car market sometimes during 2017. It is speculated that Swift 2017 will be longer, wider and lower than the existing version of Maruti Swift.
