Lucrative Discount Offers On Maruti Suzuki Baleno, Ignis, Ciaz and S-Cross
The slow car sales in the recent time has compelled car makers across the country to determine new sales strategies to cope with the situation of weakening sales. Moreover, going through the implementation of new safety and emission standards most of the carmakers are trying to liquidate the existing stocks of their vehicles at the earliest. As the result of which they are offering lucrative offers to enjoy substantial profits on the remaining stock of the old vehicles before the government strictly discontinues the sales of such vehicles.
Following the same trend country’s leading car maker Maruti Suzuki India Limited has announced the discount up-to Rs. 60,000 on few of its models that are being sold through its premium dealership chain – Nexa showrooms. According to the industry reports this discount is being offered on Baleno, Ignis, Ciaz and S-Cross. The details of the discount offered on these cars are referred below:
Ciaz: Despite of the fact the sales of Ciaz have witnessed huge decline in the number of its sales, but still it continues to rule the segment successfully for the third year, thus beating its strong contenders Hyundai Verna and Honda City. The Indo-Japanese car maker is offering the discount of Rs 50,000 on the mid-spec trims namely Sigma, Delta and Zeta while the discount of Rs. 40,000 is being offered on the top spec Alpha and all the trims of Ciaz mated with AT transmission system.

Baleno: Available with two engine options in the petrol variant and one engine option in the diesel variant the Baleno hatchback is offered with the discount of Rs. 22,500 on the pre-facelift version and the discount of Rs. 17,500 on the facelift version. This discount is however not offered on the trims empowered with the DualJet engine.

Ignis: The Ignis hatchback touched the milestone of 1 lakh sales during the last month, and prior to this it was upgraded with the features like speed warning and rear parking sensors. With an objective to clear the existing stock of the hatchback company is offering the discount of Rs. 37,500 on all the variants of the Ignis.

S-Cross: Atlhough the Crossover S-Cross received an overwhelming response from the buyers at the time of its launch, but going through its high price the company failed to enjoy the expected success. However, the company upgraded the vehicle accordingly in the recent years and continued to enjoy healthy sales. The discount of Rs. 60,000 across all the trims announced recently by the company is believed to help the Indo-Japanese car maker in rolling out its existing stock before the launch of its facelift in the coming months.
