Mahindra Assessing Market Potentials To Launch XUV Aero
It is reported that after showcasing XUV Aero concept during Indian Auto Expo 2016 held during the month of February this year, domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra has started analyzing the favorable circumstances for launching the vehicle. This was recently disclosed by Mr. Pawan Goenka, Executive Director, Mahindra and Mahindra, saying that company is interested to launch the vehicle soon in Indian car market. Moving ahead Mr. Goenka added that company has initiated some production work in this direction but still it requires to analyze the feasibility of this project. From this statement of Mr. Goenka, it is believed that once the domestic car maker is assured about the success of product it will commence the production of Aero XUV.

If company finds the situations in its favour then it is estimated that Aero will hit the roads in next two years. Interestingly despite of receiving encouraging response from Indian car market and also during the showcase of vehicle during Auto Expo 2016, company still seems to be in dilemma about the success of Aero. In the words of Mr. Goenka, still there are some loops in market due to which native car makers are not in position to launch their products in market, as they will not be able to sale desired number volumes as against the investment made by them for manufacturing the product. Because during the time of its showcase it was speculated that if M&M launches XUV Aero in Indian car market it will be priced around Rs. 20 lakh.

Talking about the looks of XUV Aero it would be a mixture of coupe, SUV and crossover developed on the platform used for developing compact SUV XUV 500. It is reported to be empowered with 212.9 hp mHawk engine and bestow driving modes like Race, Off-road, Street and Sport. Its design has been developed by Italian designing firm Pininfarnia. As reported earlier, last year during the month of December M&M had said to follow the design pattern acquisitioned from Italian designer Pininfarnia. This decision was taken after the domestic car maker had acquired 76.06 % of shares from Pincar S.r.l.
