Mahindra commences bookings of NuvoSport
After successful launch of TUV300 and KUV100 in Indian car market domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra is all set to launch its new compact SUV NuvoSport in Indian car market on April 4, 2016. Endorsed to be offered as an advanced version and replacement of Mahindra Quanto by M&M the NuvoSport is said to be offered between recently launched TUV300 and KUV100. According to reports the dealers of company has commenced bookings of same at their end with the down payment of Rs. 10,000 quite early before its launch.

Under the hood NuvoSport will continue the same engine of 1.4 litre engine configuration as offered in Quanto generating power of 100 bhp and torque of 240Nm. It will be available in four trims namely N4, N4+, N6 and N8. It is expected to priced with price tag starting from Rs. 6.5 lakh and will host some remarkable features like newly developed touchscreen infotainment system, lumbar support, newly developed steering wheel and eight way adjustable seats.

It is reported that design of NuvoSport has been developed by company’s research and development unit Mahindra Research Valley at Chennai. Once launched in Indian car market NuvoSport will compete against recently launched Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Ford EcoSport.
