Mahindra First Choice Wheels Aims More Sales Growth in Eastern India
Mahindra First Choice Wheels is India’s largest used car showroom with widest multi range of quality checked second hand vehicles and now the company is aiming high in terms of growth from eastern part of the country.
According to top official, the company projects to experience around 50-55 per cent of sales increment this financial year from East India.
Zonal Manager (East) at Mahindra First Choice, Debdut Bagchi mentioned in his statement that the company had sold 3,365 units of pre-owned cars in the last financial year in the eastern region of the country. Emphasizing on the latest market trends, he said that it is dynamic and that they are expecting a good growth in sales of about 50-55 per cent. He shared the figures of last fiscal’s growth, which was about 40 per cent.
Mr. Bagchi also stated that this year they expect the sales figures to grow reason being the dampening show of the new car. At the showrooms of Mahindra First Choice Wheels they are displaying multi-brand cars. They have currently around 10 brands in these showrooms. This is all done to make available more choices of cars for customers within a specific price range.
Mahindra First Choice displays many second hand cars from brands such as Maruti Suzuki, Tata Motors, Honda, Hyundai etc in a price range of Rs 2 lakh- 3 lakh and Rs. 4 lakh- Rs. 4.5 lakh, depending upon the quality and variants.
Mahindra presently stands with 10 per cent of market share in the used auto market in the eastern part of the country and further desires to enhance the same to 12 – 13 per cent by this financial year.
Continuously increasing petrol prices and booming interest rates are the major reasons behind the hiked up sales of pre-owned cars, especially the diesel versions are now being preferred than petrol variants.
Mr. Bagchi said that demand for secondhand diesel cars is flourishing rapidly and the company is targeting to showcase more diesel vehicles at their showrooms across the nation.
