Mahindra May Unveil Lifestyle Electric Truck In August
If rumours are true, then the Indian carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra will unveil its electric truck Lifestyle pickup in the United Kingdom on August 15, 2022. According to reports, the company plans to unveil its 3 new upcoming electric cars in London. It is believed, that among these three electric vehicles, one would be an electric pickup. Although there is no official announcement made by the company, industry experts are sure that Mahindra will surely make this move to strengthen its position in the electric vehicle segment.
Well, speaking about the Lifestyle Pickup truck it is designed by Mahindra’s Uk-based designing team - Mahindra Advanced Designed Europe (MADE). Reports reveal that this electric pickup truck is developed strictly for the North American car market. Mahindra’s North America Centre will develop its mechanical parts. As Mahindra has recently partnered with the German car maker Volkswagen, the truck will outsource most of its parts from its German partner. The truck will receive power from batteries developed by LG and some Chinese companies.
It would be interesting to know that with growing concern toward electric cars, the homegrown car maker Mahindra intends to strengthen its position in this segment across the world. Especially after the popularity enjoyed by Tata Nexon EV and MG ZS EV, the company is in the mood to mark its presence in electric vehicles. It is believed that electric cars developed by Mahindra will offer a range of 400 km on a single charge. As far as the other details of the Lifestyle electric pickup truck are concerned, the company will disclose them at the time of its unveiling on August 15, 2022.
