Mahindra Officially Reveals New Features Of XUV700
The Mahindra XUV700 SUV from the domestic carmaker is one of the highly awaited launches of the year. The SUV is slated for launch during the upcoming festive season. Before that following the trend of developing curiosity among the buyers by revealing main features from time to time, Mahindra has also revealed the details of some main features that would be offered in the SUV. According to sources, the SUV would be offered with four driving modes - Zip, Zap, Zoom, and Custom. Along with this, the SUV will also be equipped with Adrenox informatics suits and the Alexa voice commands.
Speaking about the specific features of these four types of driving modes, the carmaker has not revealed any details. It is believed that the Zip and Zap modes will be like the Eco and City modes are offered in cars from Tata Motors. As far as the mode Zoom is concerned it is speculated to be the performance mode, like Sport mode in Tata cars. The custom mode doesn’t need any clarification. One thing that needs to be mentioned here importantly is that these driving modes would be offered only in the diesel variant.
The other features offered inside the cabin include a 3D sound system from Sony, cabin air filter, automatic AC control, flush-fitted door handles, a panoramic sunroof, and a few more. Under the hood, it will be offered with two engine options of a 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine and a 2.2-litre diesel engine. The 2.0-litre petrol engine is same as 2.0-litre m Stallion engine offered in the new Mahindra Thar. This engine will however generate more power than the petrol version of Thar.
