Mahindra Quanto gets immense response, car maker all set to meet demand

Eyeing the prelaunch, launch and the current post launch craze for the compact SUV Mahindra Quanto, the Indian SUV maker has decided to produce 2500 units in October. It is worth mentioning that the Quanto has been the newsmaker prior to its launch as Mahindra Xylo Mini and later as Mahindra new SUV. Also, the new car has bagged tremendous response in a single day of its launch yesterday. Sensing this huge response and passion among the people of India, Mahindra has decided to produce over 2500 units. Notably, the Nasik factory of Mahindra can produce 7000 units of MUVs that includes the Xylo and Quanto and based on the demand the carmaker could adjust the production capacity of both these cars.

It is expected that just as the Mahindra XUV 5OO had tremendous booking in the first and second phase and is still enjoying the same till today, the new Mahindra SUV Quanto is also expected to repeat the same and even better as this is in the price range of Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh. Meanwhile it will also be taking advantage of the craze for the compact MPV that is set abuzz by Maruti Ertiga. Offering superior looks and features than the Ertiga, the Quanto will be able to put a decent choice among Ertiga buyers.

Meanwhile, Mahindra also plans to export the Quanto to the neighboring countries soon after it relishes the festive season buying here. The 1.5 L engine powered Quanto is able to offer a mileage of 17.3 kmpl due to its three cylinder makeup and this is going to be one of the factors that will further push up its sales. Now Mahindra has four new car launches left with it. These are Mahindra Reva NXR, Ssangyong Rexton, Ssangyong Korando and Mahindra Verito compact sedan.
