Mahindra releases first teaser of S101; might reveal details on December 18, 2015
With doubts and speculations going on regarding reveal of Mahindra’s forth coming compact SUV codenamed as S101 (to be named as KUV100 as reported earlier) due to different revealing dates announced at different platforms with some informing its revealing date on December 18, 2015 and others saying it after a month, i.e., January 18, 2016. Domestic car maker has released the first teaser of its highly anticipated and awaited compact SUV S101, giving first glimpse about the front fascia of this new product by company. This teaser has not only acted as a fire to petrol giving new heights to the rumours regarding its unveiling on December 18, 2015 but also succeeded in grabbing the attention of audiences towards it.
Being launched with an objective to compete against Maruti Suzuki Wagon R and Chevrolet Beat, the new infant from M&M family is speculated to reach the dealers in the beginning of next year. According to picture revealed by car maker the S101 aka KUV100 will carry tall look at front fascia along with sleek front grille with newly designed headlamps mounted on it. With these features you will also find aggressive front bumper with skid plate giving it a sportier look. Talking about the interiors you might find three spoke multi functional steering wheel, touchscreen infotainment system and combined seats at front row.
Speculated to be priced about Rs. 4 lakh, the upcoming SUV would be offered in both petrol and diesel engines with 1.2 litre engines. These engines would be mated with five speed manual gear transmission system with expectation of AMT system also to be introduced in top end variant of petrol variant.
