Mahindra Reva E20 launch on Monday, new features revealed
Just as Mahindra is revealing the features of the, Mahindra Reva E20 on its new website the anticipation for this car is on the rise and mounting minute by minute and second by second. Now the car launch is on the coming Monday and it is just 2 days to go, enquiries regarding the price and specification of the car are surmounting. In all, Mahindra has till now revealed three features on the E20 website. These are Sun to Car, Revive Technology and Regenerative Braking. With the next few hours, the car maker will be revealing more features of the car and this is just going to increase the yearning for this India’s first most viable electric car. Expected to be priced around Rs 5 lakh, the car will be a pride for those who love their environment and their pocket as well.
Where the Reva E2O launch was held back by first the National Mission for Electrical and Hybrid Mobility and then due to the Union Budget, there is nothing that can keep the car from launch. Though the company is highly disappointed by the budget provision and expected more rebates and concessions to the electric and hybrid cars but the present provision will also be helpful in pricing the car in an economical and viable manner. Currently, the Mahindra Reva E20 has no rival but it will be an option to Tata Nano, Chevrolet Spark and other cars.
Meanwhile, just ahead of the launch, the car maker has launched a new campaign, - the Ask Movement. In this, entries are invited from people of India to ask questions. The intention behind this campaign is that while developing this electric car Mahindra has also asked various question in order to make this car more efficient and in order to make it more and more viable. It is the result of this inquisitiveness that the car now has such interesting features such as it can be charged through the sun powered charging station; it has unique Revive technology that helps you get going for another 8-10 kms even if the batteries have run out of power. In addition to this the car also has regenerative braking system that means that every time you apply brakes, the batteries get recharged.
