Mahindra Rexton website goes live

Mahindra has made the Ssangyong India website live and has put some videos on the page for the visitors to experience the high end premium SUV Mahindra Rexton. The other pages and navigations are still to be operation and are tagged ‘coming soon’ ahead of the launch of the Rexton tomorrow. The Rexton SUV will be priced above the Mahindra XUV 5OO and will mark the entry of the car maker in a new segment where there was a dire need of an SUV. The Mahindra Ssangyong Rexton price is speculated to be Rs 20 lakh onwards. At this price the SUV Rexton will be competing with a lot of offerings including Ford Endeavour, Chevrolet Captiva and most importantly Toyota Fortuner that is making the buzz these days with the new TRD Sportivo edition in place.

The Rexton SUV was showcased at the Auto Expo by M&M early this year and since then a series of spy shots and price calculations began and finally Mahindra has decided to launch it tomorrow i.e. October 17. This will be the second major launch by the car maker this year after the first in the form of Mahindra Quanto. Going forward the car maker will be launching the more advanced Ssangyong Mahindra Korando in sometime. The other car launches by Mahindra will include, Mahindra Reva NXR and Mahindra Verito CS.

The Rexton website states ‘Discover the new face of Sophistication and Refinement’ and shows two YouTube videos on its and everything else is coming soon. It is believed that the website will be fully live once the Rexton launch happens tomorrow. The website though puts up an introduction to Ssangyong motors that it is in SUV making since 1954 and now brings the SUVs lineage to India through Mahindra.
