Mahindra To Showcase Electric XUV500 During Indian Auto Expo 2020
With almost a week left in the organization of Indian Auto Expo 2020, the auto manufacturers across the country have started opening their cards regarding the launches that would be showcased during the show. In the series, domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra has revealed its strategy for the show. According to resources, the carmaker is going to showcase the fleet of its electric vehicles that it will launch till 2021. The biggest one among this fleet will be an electric version of XUV500, its features of however are yet to be revealed by the carmaker.

The second vehicle that will mark its presence during the show is believed to be eKUV100 that was showcased as a conceptual vehicle during the Indian Auto Expo 2018. The electric KUV100 is going to launch this year during March. The Mahinda eKUV100 will have an upgraded platform for placing the battery pack and will be equipped with 165 kW battery, developing the power of 221 bhp and deliver an average of 180km. Another electric vehicle to be showcased by the domestic carmaker will eXUV300. The electric XUV300 is reported to be developed on a new MESMA 2 platform, it will be powered with 380-volt system embedded with 150 kW battery delivering an average of 250 km.
Apart from, electric passenger vehicles, the company will also launch an electric quadricycle to compete with Bajaj Qute. To be christened as Mahindra Atom, the vehicle was showcased during the Auto Expo 2018 and now the company is going to showcase its production version. It will be powered with 48kW battery. It will have the top speed of 70 kmph.
