Mahindra to Unveil XUV700 with A New Logo August 15, 2021
The domestic carmaker Mahindra & Mahindra is all set to unveil its upcoming SUV XUV700 in the Indian car market on August 15, 2021. The launch event will held in October 2021 just before the festive season. Recently the company revealed its new logo which would be studded on XUV700. With this, the XUV700 will be the first model to be offered with a new badge. The SUV is reported to be offered with a series of premium features that would be offered for the first time in any SUV. Some of the key features offered in the upcoming SUV are:
Engine: Under the hood, there would be two engine options. The petrol variant will come equipped with a 2.0-litre turbocharged engine that is capable of boosting the power of 200 hp, whereas the diesel variant will be equipped with a 2.2-litre turbocharged engine, that churns the power of 185hp. The transmission duties in both variants will be performed by an option of a six-speed manual and a six-speed Aisin-derived torque convertor automatic transmission system. It is the first SUV in the segment which will receive the Sony 3D sound system with roof-mounted speakers. Along with this, the diesel variant will have four driving modes - Zip, Zap, Zoom, and Custom.
Features Offered for the First Time in Segment: The infotainment system is reported to have an in-built e-SIM to display the information related to the weather. It will also have dual-zone climate control for HVAC, drowsiness detection feature, smart door handles, and personalized safety alerts. It will also be equipped with booster headlamps that will help in boosting the intensity of LED headlamps during poor visibility. Moving ahead it will also embellish the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) for blind-spot detection, automatic emergency braking, lane-keeping assist, and a few more.
Auto Booster Headlamps and Panoramic Sunroof: The Mahindra XUV700 will be the first vehicle in the segment to come equipped with auto booster headlamps. These lamps switch on automatically as soon as the vehicle crosses the speed of 80km/hour during the night. It also has a large panoramic sunroof to be named as “Skyroof”. It will have dimensions of 1,360 mm in length and a breadth of 870mm.
Apart from these notable features the SUV will host lots of new features on the exterior and interior fronts.
