Mahindra U321 To Be Christened As Marazzo

There have been plenty of speculations, discussion regarding the naming of upcoming MPV codenamed as U321 from domestic car maker Mahindra and Mahindra. Finally, pulling the curtain from all rumored names and thoughts the homegrown car manufacturing company has christened the proposed MPV as ‘Marazzo’, thus, following the custom pattern of naming the name of vehicles ending with ‘O’.  According to the authentic sources, Marazzo might be launched sometime during the month of September this year.
 
Revealing the name of Mahindra Marazzo
 
The MPV has been undergoing the test drive from long time across the country and had been caught by the spies at several occasions. It would be interested to know despite of competing with small MPV’s like Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, the Marazzo will compete directly against the giant MPV Toyota Innova Crysta. Although, till now the car maker has not revealed any thing about the features that would be adorned in the MPV, but going through the images revealed on various platforms the design seems to be inspired from a shark. Anyhow, one thing which is confirmed about Marazzo is that from any point it do not look like any of the Mahindra’s vehicle. 
 
Major Highlights of Marazzo
 
The design and development of Mahindra Marazzo is the result of joint efforts made by North American Technical Centre, Pininfarina, Mahindra Research Valley in Chennai and company’s design studio located in Kandivali. The front fascia of MPV is similar to the nose of a shark comprising of twin pod projector headlamps, sleek window lines moving towards the rear portion, giving an impression of shark fin taillamp. It will be offered with seating option of 7 seater and 8 seater. The most important feature offered inside the cabin will be roof mounted climate control system. The features in details are expected to  be revealed by the car maker in coming days.
