Mahindra XUV300 Caught During The TVC Shoot
Recently the domestic car maker Mahindra & Mahindra disclosed the name of its upcoming compact SUV XUV300, codenamed as S201. The pictures of SUV300 have been already revealed in the cyber world and now it is for the first time the compact SUV was captured with naked eyes while undergoing the TVC shoot. Interestingly, the spies did not leave any stone unturned in capturing the images of the compact SUV, thus giving a full glimpse of the looks of this baby version of SUV XUV500.
Under the hood, it is believed that XUV300 will be offered in both the petrol and diesel disguises. The petrol variant is reported to be empowered with 1.2 litre G80 turbocharged engine followed by1.5 litre diesel engine. However, still nothing has been revealed by the car maker.The transmission duties are speculated to be followed by six speed manual gearbox, with AMT transmission system to offered in the later months. After launch the XUV will compete against Ford EcoSport, Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza and Tata Nexon.
On the exterior front it will carry the Cheetah inspired design philosophy as offered in XUV500. The top end trim is reported to be offered with projector lamps with LED DRLs, roof mounted spoiler, diamond cut alloy wheels and many more. The front grille is similar to XUV500. Inside the cabin, it will be embellished with dual tone dashboard, auto climate control system, touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto,dual pod instrument console, adjustable rear head rests, height adjustable driver’s seat etc. On the safety front it will be equipped with seven airbags, ABS+EBD, ESP, reverse parking camera and parking sensors.
