Mahindra Xylo H series launched at starting price of Rs 8.23 lakh

Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M), the country's leading Multi Utility Vehicle marker has given the new breath to its popular MPV (Multi Purpose Vehicle) Mahindra Xylo with launch of new 'H' series. The new Mahindra Xylo H series has been offered in three variants like H4, H8 and H9 which are powered by mHawk 2.2 Liter turbo diesel power train which is already doing duty in top-end E9 variant of the MPV. The base variant, Mahindra Xylo H4 price starts at Rs 8.23 lakh (ex-showroom, Mumbai)

The company has offered H series Xylo with key features of Dual Airbags, ABS with EBD, Extra Stability Technology Suspension (EST), Reverse Parking Assist, H-Series badge at rear and many more. Along with already available 5 colors, the new H series of the Xylo has been in one new Dolphin Grey color choice too. All variants of the beast are powered by 2.2 liter mHawk engine generates max power of 120ps and peak torque of 280Nm. Power of the engine goes to wheels via a 5 speed manual gearbox and the beast returns 14.2 kmpl of mileage as per ARAI certificates.

The new Xylo H4 variant offers ABS as optional feature, while the Xylo H8 variant has been offered with optional safety features of ABS and Airbags. The top-end Xylo H9 variant comes fully loaded with Voice Command Technology (VCT), Cruise Control, Digital Drive Assist System and many more. The company is offering 3 years or 1,00,000 kms of warranty for new series of the beast. It is expected that now Mahindra's full size MPV would be eating the market shares of some of newly launched MPVs like Nissan Evalia, Chevrolet Enjoy and compact MPV Maruti Ertiga.
