Maruti Alto 800 and Alto K10 comes with Optional Airbag
Country’s leading passenger car maker, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, today announced that it is now offering Driver airbag as an option in all variants of Alto 800 and Alto K10. Aside from adding drive airbag, Indo-Japanese carmaker also added left outside rear-view mirror across all variants of Alto.
Mr. R S Kalsi, Executive Director, Marketing & Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, stated, "With driver airbag being offered from the base variant upward as an option for the Alto, a very large number of car customers in India will feel reassured. We have offered enhanced safety features, from the base variants, across our model range."
For the past 10 years Maruti Alto has been India's No. 1 selling car in a row and has won various accolades because of its remarkable fuel efficiency and attractive design, and continues to strengthen its wide appeal among customers who want more power and performance in their car.
Since its launch, Maruti Suzuki has sold more than 29 lakhs units of Alto in India and for FY 2014-15, the average monthly sale of Alto was over 22,000 units.
