Maruti launches 'Maruti Suzuki Queen of the Road' offer
Celebrating women’s day on March 9, India’s largest car maker Maruti has announced double bonanza offer at all its driving schools in the country. On the occasion, the car maker has also announced the “Maruti Suzuki Queen of the Road” contest. The winners of this contest will get a cash prize of Rs 50,000. As part of the offer, the car maker is offering 25 percent discount on the basic car learning package and a Rs 1000 off on the advanced package. This is yet another endeavor by Maruti in the field of women empowerment and this offer has also given an opportunity for women who wish to drive their own car. It is believed that with the increase in the number of women drivers this offer and event will be of great use. Women can have not just discount on learner’s program by Maruti at its driving schools but they will also have a chance to win the “Maruti Suzuki Queen of the Road.”
As per the official information, Maruti has lady drivers and instructors at their driving schools and women learn driving by these instructors. Interestingly, more than 50 percent of the people who enroll for learning driving at Maruti driving schools in India are women. Thus the craze among women can be gauged by this huge percentage and this is the reason why the car maker has put forward a lucrative offer for more women to enroll for learning driving. Interested women can also enroll through the special website for this and after the month long activity, the final winner will be declared after the practical evaluation at the nearest Maruti driving school. At these driving schools, Maruti teaches driving to learners using Maruti Alto, Maruti Wagon R and other cars such as Maruti A-Star.
In all there are over 250 Maruti driving schools and the number is on the rise every month. In all the car maker has taught 1.4 lakh women in safer driving practices and it is believed that this event will invite a large number of women to learn car driving.
