Maruti Suzuki Ignis spied, launch during festive season
Maruti Suzuki Ignis, the proposed compact cross-over from Indo-Japanese car maker has been in headlines from last six to eight months. Recently the prototype of same was spied being tested on roads, strengthening the rumors regarding its launch during the upcoming festive season. Although the unit of Ignis spied was completely camouflaged but still spies succeeded in having a glimpse of interiors that would be offered in Ignis. According to spies the Ignis spied had same interiors which were exhibited in its unit showcased during the Indian Auto Expo 2016.

The interiors of Ignis are anticipated to bestow features like newly developed steering wheel, utilitarian floating dual colored dashboard integrating features like HVAC controls, smartplay display, and some unique fresh appearance to interiors in from of additional features. It will have length of 3,700 mm, width of 1,660 mm, height of 1,595 mm, wheelbase of 2,435 mm and ground clearance of 180mm.

As far as engine configurations are concerned nothing has been so far revealed by car maker however it is speculated to be offered with either 1.2 litre K12B VVT petrol engine and 1.3 litre DDiS diesel engine with SHVS mild hybrid system. Engine transmission system will include five speed manual gear transmission system followed by CVT transmission system for petrol variant.
