Maruti Suzuki S-Cross getting ready for launch
After successful launch of country’s most fuel efficient diesel hatchback Maruti Suzuki Celerio, couple of days back, country’s leading car maker MSIL is all set to launch its upcoming SUV S-Cross in Indian car market sometimes during the second week of next month. According to latest reports car maker has commenced the production of the same and about 600 units of S-Cross have been so far manufactured by company and soon it is speculated that company may start its bookings also. After launch S-Cross will compete against Ford EcoSport and Renault Duster.
Technical features under bonnet will include two engine options in diesel variant which would be 1.3 litre and 1.6 litre. The 1.6 litre diesel engine will generate power of 118 bhp and torque of 32 kgm. It would be mated with six speed manual gearbox and is expected to priced starting from Rs. 8 lakh onwards.
