Maruti Suzuki S-Presso Makes Its Position In Top 10 Best Selling Cars
Just a month old mini SUV S-Presso by country’s leading car manufacturing company Maruti Suzuki India Limited on September 30, 2019, has witnessed an encouraging response by the Indian car enthusiasts. According to the sales statistics revealed by the auto industry for October 2019, the mini SUV has succeeded in making its place in the top ten best selling cars in the Indian car market. The mini SUV recorded the sales of 10,637 units sold during October 2019, thus overtaking its elder sibling Vitara Brezza, which registered the sales of 10, 227 units.
Under the hood, the S-Presso is empowered with a BS-VI 1.0 liter petrol engine that churns the power of 67 bhp @ 5,500 rpm and the torque of 90Nm at 3,500 rpm. The transmission duties include a five-speed manual gear transmission system followed by an option of the AMT system. The mini SUV is developed on the Heartect Platform that underpins in WagonR, Swift, Dzire, Baleno and few of the other cars manufactured by the Indo-Japanese car maker.
With features like an SUV style, powerful engine, compact design, and of-course the compatible pricing are some factors that are believed to impress the buyers in the Indian car market. While speaking about the features offered in the mini SUV are concerned it is equipped with a plethora of contemporary features like SmartPlay touchscreen infotainment system that supports connectivity to a smartphone. Other notable features include steering wheel-mounted audio and Bluetooth controls, rear parking sensors, dual airbags, speed sensor and door locking sensor.
