Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018: An Overview
Maruti Suzuki Swift, the best selling hatchback by the Indo-Japanese car makers do not requires any introduction to introduce itself in the Indian car market. Now, the second generation of Swift is on cards to make its debut in the beginning of next year and has been in limelight from almost a year and with its launch getting closer with each passing day, car enthusiasts are keen to know about the new features that would introduced in its new avatar. Interestingly going through the concern of our readers we are trying to figure some new features which we can speculate to offered in the new Maruti Suzuki Swift 2018.
1. Showcased during the Indian Auto Expo 2018: It is believed that the new Swift would be showcased during upcoming Indian Auto Expo 2018to be held in the month of February and is believed to be launched soon after its unveil. After launch in the market it will compete against Hyundai Grand i10 and Ford Figo.
2. Powertrain: It is believed that the new Swift will be continued with the existing 1.2 litre petrol and 1.3 litre diesel engine options. It is believed that the diesel engine might be tuned to generate more power than its current efficiency. The new thing which might be introduced is the option of automatic transmission system in both the variants. Apart from this the Japanese partner Suzuk is also planning to introduce 1.3 litre boosterjet petrol and 1.5 litre diesel engine for the international car market.
3. Completely new visuals: Despite of the fact that Japanese car maker has continued with the existing design but still it has succeed in maintaining the proper balance between the new and modern design philosophy. To make the new Swift look different from its existing face it will be embellished with set of new head and tail lights along with improved front fascia.
4. Sportier interiors: Inside the cabin you will completely new interior in form of new steering wheel, minimalistic dashboard, two-pod instrument cluster. As far as India bound version is concerned it is believed to be offered with touchscreen infotainment system, spacious cabin with substantial legroom, bootspace extended to 254 litres from existing 250 litres, Apple Car Play, Mirror link, paddle shifters and many more.
Apart from these features there would be plethora of new features that are expected to be disclosed during the time of its unveil.
