Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift launching soon
Spies have succeeded in capturing the pictures of Maruti Suzuki Swift facelift being dispatched from company’s yard to its dealers which is an indication that soon company is going to launch the facelift hatchback in Indian car market and start its deliveries. According to reports the facelift Swift hatchback carries most of its looks from the existing avatar however the top end variants have now been decorated with LED daytime running lights, whereas the lower end variants have been decorated with chrome strips instead of LED daytime running lights. Apart from this other notable changes offered in facelift Swift are chrome door handles, new alloy wheels and wheel covers, reverse parking sensors with camera.
Talking about the engine configurations the facelift will carry the same 1.2 litre K-Series petrol engine followed by 1.3 litre MJD diesel engine. Both the variants are mated with five speed manual gear transmission system, it is also speculated that the mid and top end variants may be offered with AMT system which would be same as offered in Celerio. Inside the cabin it is speculated that it might receive push button start, electrically adjustable OVRMs and also high defined infotainment system. It is anticipated to be priced between Rs. 4.43 lakh and Rs. 6.71 lakh and after launch it will compete against upcoming Ford Figo “KA” and Hyundai Grand i10.
