Maruti Suzuki Swift Too be Manufactured in Gujarat
Maruti Suzuki Swift, one of the best selling hatchbacks in country by leading car Maruti Suzuki India Limited is ready to enter in its next generation and is in pipeline of Indo-Japanese car maker for launch sometimes during the later months of next year or before the organisation of Indian Auto Expo 2018. According to reports coming from internal sources company is planning to begin its production activities from its new production plant located in Gujarat from the beginning of 2017 and is speculating to produce 1.5 million units annually. The reports also reveal that going through the huge demand Baleno hatchback company will roll out the upcoming slots of Baleno from the same plant which will later be joined by generation next Swift hatchback and Swift Dzire compact sedan.
The Maruti Swift 2017 is reported to make its global debut during the Geneva Motor Show scheduled to be organized in March 2017. Prior to this Sketch of Maruti Suzuki Swift 2017 was revealed by company during the month of June this year, giving a glimpse of cosmetic changes that would be introduced in new Swift. The generation next Swift will embellish features like newly developed headlight with projector lamps, enlarged front grille, new taillamps, rear door handle offered in C-pillar, and stylish alloy rim.
On the interior front new Swift hatchback will be equipped with latest looks and features comprising of sportier steering wheel with mounted controls, twin pod instrumental dials with multi-info display outsourced from Baleno hatchback, contemporary center console with circular shaped HVAC vents. The top variants are reported to be equipped with safety features like ABS+EBD, dual airbags, keyless entry with push-button start, automatic climate control, reverse parking camera and SmartPlay entertainment system.
