Maruti Suzuki SX4 Crossover to be offered with AMT transmission system
The cross over market in Indian car market is expanding its roots at jet dynamic speed and Maruti Suzuki SX4 Crossover is one of the highly awaited crossovers from leading car manufacturer MSIL. The crossover would be offered in diesel trim. The Crossover is already on sale in U.K. car market and according to recent reports car maker is going to introduce one more variant in its existing line-up would be diesel variant and would be offered with AMT transmission system.
Interestingly there are no second thoughts about the integration of automated system because undoubtedly company would be integrating the new AMT system (auto gear shift) which is offered by Magneti Marelli and is integrated Celerio and Alto K10 hatchbacks from car maker. The other type of automatic system is 4 speed automatic transmission system and is offered in different cars developed by MSIL including Maruti Suzuki Swift Dzire. Although it is conventional transmission system as now all major car makers are shifting towards automated manual transmission system (AMT).
In simple words AMT may be defined as system that automatically uses clutch and moves gear according to speed of vehicle and is expanding its roots in auto industry. An interesting feature of this system is that it can be easily used in all types of vehicles varying from cars to heavy trucks. Moving back towards to Maruti Suzuki SX4 crossover, as it would be offered in diesel variants it is anticipated to offered AMT system because of its superior fuel efficiency performance as compared to conventional automatic transmission system.
